Coronavirus: What’s happening with repairs?

Last updated: 16th September 2020

We know that maintaining your home and dealing with repairs is one of the most important things to you so that’s why we have set out below the latest progress on our current repairs service and when we are likely to open bookings for certain jobs.

What repairs are currently open for bookings?

Roofing repairs – including works to guttering

Drainage repairs, such as blocked drainage and sewage systems

Electrical works such as extractor fans, sockets, light fittings and switches

Plumbing works such as dripping taps, leaks and issues with toilets

You can do this via your online account.

When will we be taking repair requests for other jobs?

Please note that these are subject to change and depend on a number of aspects such as Government and Local Authority advice.

Carpentry works – we are looking to open bookings for any carpentry works from 28th September. Carpentry works include internal and front doors, kitchen cupboards and floor boards.

Plastering works – we currently have a large backlog of plastering jobs and there is also a national shortage of plastering material. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to open new bookings in the next month or so. Our Operatives are working extremely hard to clear the backlog as quickly as possible.

Plastering works include cracks over the size of a one pound coin and ceilings.

Fencing works – Similarly, there are also a shortage of fencing materials and a high backlog of ground works so we will not be able to open requests for these in the next month or so.

Keeping you informed…

We will keep this page updated with any further news on the progress of repairs. We will also be posting updates on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
