From the 1st April 2022, Greatwell Places will be switching to area-based teams and taking over large areas of the estates.
This will include all areas included in the Hemmingwell, Queensway, Kingsway and the Town Centre.
What does this mean?
This means that instead of two organisations splitting the areas, Greatwell Places will undertake all of the:
- Grass cutting
- Grounds Maintenance
- Fly Tipping
- Litter Picking
- Hedge Cutting
You should see an increased presence in all areas due to the new area-based teams being able to have a team in attendance Monday to Friday, undertaking all the tasks that need to be completed, rather than having a roving team attending to lots of different areas all over the estates.
We will be looking for feedback over the next 12 months from all residents of the estates to see what effect this has had, but also allow us to develop any improvements into which the way we work and carry out our duties.
