Coronavirus update: Wednesday 18th March

Following the announcements from the Government on Monday 16th March, we are changing how we work to help minimise the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

From Wednesday 18th March we will only be dealing with emergency repairs and anyone who has a non-emergency repair booked in will be contacted and their repair will be postponed. We ask that if you have an emergency repair and are currently self-isolating, or anyone in the property has any symptoms of the virus, that you make us aware as soon as possible.

Emergency repairs are classed as anything where there is imminent risk to injury to someone or major damage to the property. These include:

  • Flooding or a major leak, with the possibility of ceiling collapse
  • Fire
  • Unsafe electrics or a total loss of power to the property
  • Doors or windows not being secure
  • No heating or hot water in the Winter (or all year round for older or vulnerable customers)
  • Sewage overflowing into the home

Please do not report non-emergency repairs at this challenging time.

Other services

In order to protect both our customers and staff, we will also be scaling back on some of the other services we offer such as mutual exchanges and stock condition surveys. We will also be limiting our contact with our customers as much as possible but we will still aim to provide the best possible services to you.

Reception closure

Our reception centre at 12 Sheep Street is closed and will be for the foreseeable future. If you need to get in contact with us, you can do so here or by calling 01933 234450.

We appreciate that these are difficult times for everyone and we would like to thank you for your cooperation at this time.
