This is a fantastic opportunity to join Greatwell Homes to work in a challenging role and be part of a growing business, adding significant value by providing a high performing finance service to the business. As our new Finance Manager you will lead, develop and motivate the finance team, ensuring the team lives the Greatwell Homes’ values and behaviours.

Within this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the financial ledger and all transactional functions. Methodical, thorough and analytical in your approach, you will monitor and evaluate rent accounting, purchase ledger and nominal ledger functions to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the service across the organisation.

Suitable candidates for this role will possess a relevant qualification and/or substantial experience gained in a financial service setting (preferably within a Housing and/or audit sector background). You will understand the importance that effective financial controls have for a business and as such will be able to demonstrate a in-depth knowledge of financial processes as well as successful track record of managing financial ledger and transactional functions.

This role requires a flexible approach to working hours to include occasional weekends, evenings and providing on call support on a rota’d basis.
