We are seeking a self-motivated and organised Governance Assistant to join us to provide a high quality, proactive and effective corporate governance service.

Within this role, you will work with and support the Senior Governance Officer and Company Secretary on all constitutional and governance issues. Acting as the first point of contact for Board Members you will coordinate all aspects of governance administration, maintain all governance registers, service the annual governance meetings cycle and provide advice and guidance to support colleagues and the Board.

The successful candidate will be educated to A-Level standard, or equivalent, and will have experience in a personal / executive assistant or similar role in assisting senior management / directors. You will have previous experience of electronic diary management and have worked within a busy organisation with strict deadlines. You will be a confident computer user, specifically MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint, along with having exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.If you have the experience and passion to help us achieve our goals and are highly proactive with a positive attitude, you might be just the person we are looking for.
