Greatwell Homes is a provider of affordable housing and support services in the East Midlands. We own and manage around 4,600 homes with a £22 million turnover and our mission is to work successfully with our customers and communities to provide great services and high quality living environments.

We are currently looking for a highly organised individual with previous experience of scheduling works to support our in-housing maintenance service. In this role, you will appoint, monitor and control the workflow of jobs whilst scheduling resources to ensure that they are used efficiently. It will be your responsibility to ensure that tenants are given a high level quality service with excellent customer care, liaising directly with them in a courteous and professional manner at all times. You will raise works orders and dispatch jobs to the best placed operatives who can complete the repair first time, reducing non productive time. A confident IT user, you will operate effective systems to ensure efficient services and contribute to the development of relevant software.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of trades, construction and/or property services and will already be a skilled administrator. With previous experience of scheduling, you must be familiar with maintenance terminology, including general knowledge of responsive repairs, and will have strong numerical and analytical skills.

Your hours will be set to cover the needs of the service; this will normally follow a two weekly rota of week one 8am to 4pm and week two 9am to 5pm, working closely with the other planner within the team.
