Greatwell Homes is a provider of affordable housing and support services in the East Midlands. We own and manage around 4,600 homes with a £22 million turnover and our mission is to work successfully with our customers and communities to provide great services and high quality living environments.

We’re currently looking for an experienced finance professional to help provide high quality financial support to the business in all aspects of transactional finance and reporting. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate accounting, reconciliation and reporting for our organisation.

Highly numerical and analytical, you’ll ensure the timely administration of the purchase ledger, nominal ledger, rent accounting and e-purchasing ordering systems. You’ll also prepare bank reconciliations, administer petty cash, prepare VAT returns and respond to queries from suppliers.

The successful candidate should hold an AAT qualification (or equivalent) and will have experience of managing and developing financial procedures. Experience in a customer facing finance role and of achieving successful outcomes is essential. With a strong knowledge and understanding of finance, you’ll also be familiar with income and payment systems along with other financial software.
