You may have heard of a campaign from Keep Britain Tidy, a charity trying to make a difference and caring for the environment on your doorstep.
The Great British Spring Clean is taking part this weekend (2nd to 4th March) across the country and Greatwell Homes customer Scott Fitzsimmons has organised a clean-up event in Wellingborough.
It will take place on Saturday 3rd March from 10am to 12pm, starting at Glamis Hall.
Scott says: “With Glamis Hall and Norse providing equipment, we’ve agreed to meet at 10am to do a general litter pick and clear the brook that runs from the Shelley Road underpass to the Queensway underpass.”
Customers and members of the public are invited join Scott, Glamis Hall, Norse and Greatwell Homes and do their bit to help keep Britain tidy. Refreshments will also be available at Glamis Hall.
