We will be replacing some doors to communal blocks to further improve your safety.
We wanted to get in touch to let you know that we will soon be starting a project to upgrade doors within some communal blocks.
This is part of our ongoing fire safety assessments of our homes and follows the work we did last year to ‘fire stop’ (block up holes) in all communal areas. These works will improve fire safety in your block and reduce the risk of fire/smoke transferring from flat to flat if a fire were to break out.
These works are likely to start from mid-February to March and if your door is planned to be replaced, you will be contacted soon by Nene Valley (who are taking out the works) to book an appointment.
The blocks which will have some or all doors upgraded are:
- Nest Farm Crescent
- Carter Close
- Bell Court
- Hill Street
- Havelock Road
- Cowper Road
- Burns Road
- Baker Street
- Jackson Lane
- Duncan Court
- Queens Street
- Charles Robinsons Court
- Perkins Court
