A new cooling system has been installed on each floor of the Knights Court Independent Living Scheme in Wellingborough after those living there told us that it was too hot.
The cooling system was installed in July this year one floor at a time making the corridors and apartments significantly cooler and a nicer temperature for those living there. Already, customers there have commented on just how much more comfortable they are and how lovely it is to be able to cool down on a hot day – which we have had many of over the last couple of months.
Back in 2013, Knights Court re-opened after undergoing a large refurbishment programme which improved the look and quality of the scheme, but due to the new insulation, the corridors and apartments became really hot for those living there.
The cooling units are also adjustable so that the temperature can be changed to make it comfortable all year round.
